Sundus is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Her approach to therapy is integrative, goal-driven, and embedded in cultivating a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental space to allow for open discussion and emotional processing. Even though she draws upon various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Trauma- informed models, she believes that the therapeutic relationship is vital to the healing process.
Sundus's goal is to have her clients feel deeply seen and heard. Therefore, in therapy with her, she can support you in understanding your needs to make positive changes in your life through identifying space for growth and healing, insight (additional perspective), practical tools and empowering you to reconnect with your strengths.
She has had the pleasure to work successfully with clients who have come from diverse backgrounds and struggled with various issues, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, isolation, parenting challenges, emotional difficulties, and trauma.
